Aging Gracefully

Aging Gracefully

Put it all aside,
the past is just another
toxin to release.

Don't be surprised when
the weather is seasonal,
calmly acquiescence.

It's better that way,
your teeth will fall out slower,
you'll stand up straighter.

Everything has gone
exactly as it should
have gone, even you.

  1. First off I want to say great blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head
prior to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thank you!

  2. You have to just dive right in, and not think about it too much. I live on a beach in Washington, so often I just go for a walk when I need inspiration. I highly recommend walking to everyone. But, really, writing is like any other exercise, I think--you don't start to enjoy it until you're about half an hour into it, and you'll make up excuses not to start until you finally just say, "to hell with it, I'm just gonna do it, NOW." Thanks much for your support.
